Activity description
- Created in 1965 in Haute-Savoie, in the Arve Valley, Bontaz is world leader in automotive hydraulic functions. The group has 4,000 employees in 24 factories in 11 countries around the world. The group produces nearly 14 million solenoids and 180 million mechanical valves for major automotive brands each year. Supplier to the world's main car manufacturers, the products developed by the group are found in almost every second car worldwide. The Bontaz Group is a leading equipment manufacturer and is currently facing with changes in the car industry, due to the challenges of the ecological and energy transition. Its mission is to support manufacturers worldwide by developing innovative solutions to meet the new challenges of mobility, such as the electric one. Organized in Business Units, including one dedicated to Balance-of-Plant for fuel cells, Bontaz offers valves for coolant loop and hydrogen flow control for passenger cars, light and heavy duty as well as for marine and aircraft.
